Leonarda - age 96 - Peñasco Roybal

Leonarda Roybal, 96, a resident of Peñasco, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Delfinio and Eduvigen; children, Albert Roybal and Rosie Medina; siblings, Clovis Medina and Maria Pacheco. Leonarda is survived by her children, Roy Roybal and spouse Lydia, and Virginia Roybal both of Peñasco; son-in-law, Oben Medina of Vadito, daughter-in-law, Juanita Roybal and Carpio Romero of Peñasco; sister, Nora Roybal, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, with the following serving as pallbearers Daniel Medina, P.J. Medina, Matthew Vigil, Julian Rodriguez, Brandon Roybal and Michael Roybal. The family of Leonarda Roybal has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n \r\n
