Leo M. Age - 99 - Los Lucero's/Vallecitos Jaramillo

Leo M. Jaramillo, 99, a resident of Los Lucero’s, born and raised in Vallecitos passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012. Mr. Jaramillo worked for the Jackson Saw Mill for many years until retirement after that he continued with the Carson National Forest with The Older American Program. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph “Joe” L. Jaramillo; parents, Jose Maria and Eutimia Jaramillo. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lizzie Jaramillo; daughter, Josephine Owen; daughter-in-law, Annie Jaramillo; grandchildren: Michael and Kyle Gonzales, Justin Owen and wife Vanessa, Danielle McCarthy and husband Ryan, Anna Jaramillo, Julie Salazar, Joseph Jaramillo, Brain Duke, Gidget Garcia and companion Kevin, Louise Martinez and husband Fred, April Gallegos and husband Eric; numerous great-grandchildren; special friends: Tom and Linda Daniels and children; plus numerous other loving relatives & friends. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial will take place at a later date. Serving the family as pallbearers will be: Michael and Kyle Gonzales, Justin Owen, Isaac Duran, Ryan McCarthy, Joseph Jaramillo, Brain Duke and Jared Daniels. The family of Leo M.
