Lee - Age 27 - Rio Rancho - Wood

LEE RUE WOOD, age 27 of Rio Rancho passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lee Wood; maternal grandparents, Lucillo and Cleotilde DeYapp and beloved sister, Makisha Wood. He was born on January 12, 1986 in Durango, CO. Mr. Wood is survived by his mother, Evangelyn DeYapp of Rio Rancho; father, Jeff Wood, Sr. of Chama; brother, Jeff Wood Jr., and wife Cassie and children, Bailey Rose Wood and Dawson Wood of Chama and Thomas, Aunika and “Lina” all of Rio Rancho and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 9:00a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chama, with a funeral service to follow at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at the Chama Community Cemetery. A reception will follow at the St. Patrick’s Parish Hall. Serving as pallbearers, Jeff Wood, Jeff Wood Jr., Gene Wells, Wade Wood, Terrance Garcia, Caspur Westcott, Morris Carrillo and Bobby Lovato. Honorary pallbearers named are, Thomas Wood, Jason Wilson, Cassie Wood, Dawson Wood, Bailey Rose Wood, Aunika Wood-Marquez, Evangelina "Lina" Wood, Clarence DeYapp, Leann "Milan" DeYapp, Hattie DeYapp, Magan Maes, Lucillo Maes, Ceanna Maes, Shiela DeYapp and Shanan Lovato. The family of Lee Rue Wood has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
