Lawrence "Pete" - Peñasco Baca

Lawrence “Pete” Baca, a resident of Peñasco passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012. He loved the outdoors, his grandchildren and his daughters were his world. He loved his family dearly and was loved much and will be dearly missed. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ida Baca; brother, Henry Baca. Lawrence is survived by his daughters: Jennifer Baca (Steve Alcantara) of Rio Rancho, Kathy Baca (Fabian Vigil) of Peñasco, Heather Baca (Joe Mike Rodarte) of Peñasco; mother of his children, Rose Baca of Peñasco; brothers: Leo and Charles Baca; grandchildren: Marty, Abby, Daniel, Ben, Mikey, Gabriel, Stefani, Elisa and Tessa; nieces & nephews; friends: Julio and Anna Alfaro; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. The family of Lawrence “Pete” Baca has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
