Laurie Lujan

Laurie Lujan, 51, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, July 2, 2023. She passed away peacefully at her home with her husband and boys at her side. Laurie was an incredibly wonderful person who had a heart full of love and joy. She was a loving wife, mother, and godmother who loved her family deeply. Laurie loved spending time with her boys, Nicholas, Luis, and Ross Michael and her “furry kids” Echo, Foxxy, Stormy, and Whisper. She enjoyed traveling and never missed an opportunity to visit Las Vegas, NV. Laurie was a woman of great inner strength and was the rock that grounded her family while at the same time being an inspiration. She touched and impacted many through her life journey and she will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Mary Lou Lujan; grandparents Isidoro and Rosave Lucero and Pablo Jr. and Florinda Sena and other loved relatives.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 33 years, Ross. Sons Nicholas, Luis, and Ross Michael; parents Larry and Annabelle Sena; father-in-law Rosendo Lujan, sisters Stephanie Sena de Mascareña (Bryan), Marie Sena; brother Charles Sena; brother-in-law Richard Lujan (Jessica); goddaughter Angelica Chavez, godsons Estevan Lujan and Dominic Wheeler; and nieces and nephews.

A rosary will take place on Tuesday July 18, 2023, at 8:00 am and a Mass to follow at 9:00 am at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church at 9502 4^th St NW, Albuquerque. NM 87114.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Lucero, Angelica Chavez, Estevan Lujan, Rebecca Koller, Timothy Sena, and Troy Childers. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
