Laura Mae Pino, 72, of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on July 6, 2020, after fighting a short battle with cancer. Laura was proceeded in death by her parents Madeline N. Tafoya and Jose A. Tafoya; Brother Thomas Tafoya; granddaughter Justine F. Tafoya; and husbands Michael Hyde, Claude Tafoya and Eugene K. Pino. Laura is survived by her sons, Joseph D. Tafoya and Claude Tafoya; sister Leona Trujillo; grandchildren Daniel J. Tafoya and Keshia Tafoya; and her great-granddaughter Adalyn Archuleta-Vigil. Laura spent most of her years working in the judicial system, however she later found joy in being a Victims Advocate to help those in most need. In her later years, she spent her time working to keep her busy, but always found time to help others. She was always willing to lend a hand, listen, and give advice when needed. She enjoyed watching her family grow, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying life. No matter the obstacles she faced, she managed to fight with a smile.
