Larry Anthony "Tone" - Age - 56 - C Fernandez

Larry Anthony Fernández “Toné”, 56, a resident of Cuartales passed away with his family around him on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Mr. Fernandez was a carpenter by trade. He returned from California after working 20 years in construction. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Larry had a big heart, always had a wink and a smile for everyone he encountered. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Larry was preceded in death by only son, Anthony L. Fernandez; parents, Jose Max and Aurora Fernandez. Larry is survived by his sisters/brothers: Rosemary Gallegos and husband Jose Lorenzo of Corrales, Maxine Montoya and husband Deacon Manuel of Santa Fe, Harold Fernandez and wife Sylvia of Rio Rancho, Hazel Fernandez and husband Costantino Cucciniello of Dallas, TX, Teresa Martinez and husband Elmer of Albuquerque, Martha Fernandez of Cuartales, Gladys Fernandez- Ramirez and husband Catarino of Albuquerque, Leonard Fernandez and wife Tina of Cuartales, Jesse Fernandez of Cuartales and Martin Fernandez and wife Cassandra of Cuartales; beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends. Cremation has taken place. Public visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
