Larry N. Romero Jr

Larry N Romero Jr., 22, of Fairview NM, was called home to Heaven on May 6, 2023.

Larry enjoyed working where he was an employee at Walmart. Larry loved going hunting with one of his close friends Damian and liked hanging out and spending time with his other friends. Larry enjoyed playing basketball, the outdoors, and especially spending time with his mother and sister who he would tell everybody they were his world and he loved them so much. Larry also loved spending time with his other family member’s and he liked watching Full House and Family Matters and loved playing video games and especially of all he loved his moms cooking Larry will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Larry N. Romero Sr., sisters Crystal Romero and Nicole Romero, grandfather Tobias Romero, grandparents Eliseo and Maria Martinez, great grandparents Fidel and Emila Martinez, Jeremías and Celida Romero, and Valentin and Eduarda Martinez, great grandma Sorida Trujillo, and uncles Leland Romero Sr. and Delfin Martinez.

Larry is survived by his mother Sandra and sister Crystal Katrina Romero her boyfriend Luis and an expecting niece, grandmother Betty Romero and Leo, his godmother Monica Romero, and godfather Vicente Valdez, aunts Cindy Martinez, Teresita Martinez, and Viola Martinez and husband Armando Rascón, and numerous cousins and other close relatives, and friends. 

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Damian Mascareñas, Kevin Pacheco, Patrick Martinez, Dante Trujillo, Jason Torres, and Logan Atencio. Honorary Pallbearers will be his close cousins and other friends. 

A Public Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 5:30 pm at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM, with a rosary to follow at 6:30 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, NM, with a burial to follow at the Nuestra Senora de Dolores in Chimayo, NM.
