Larry J. Martinez, 43, was led by angels through Heaven’s gates on May 22, 2022, to his Heavenly home, to rest in God’s loving arms, and to be reunited with all his loved ones that have gone before him.
Larry was born on January 30, 1979, and a lifelong resident of Chimayo, NM. There were many things in life that brought him joy, but above all else, it was his desire and love for all his family, especially for his son Austin and forever love Amanda. There is no other bond like the one he had for his sister Monica; they had a brotherly, sisterly love that only they could understand.
Larry was vibrant, spontaneous, and full of energy. He was creative, artistic, and a master of his own work. You could always find him in a garage welding or working on cars. He was an avid enthusiast of lowrider cars, hoppers, and car shows. At the age of 18, he entered the Espanola Valley Super show and took first place in the two-pump car hop.
Larry loved spending time riding his dad’s Harley and attending bike rallies with his friends.
