It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kyle Salazar, from Pojoaque, NM. Kyle was a beloved grandson, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, boyfriend, and friend. He left a lasting impact on many and he will be missed deeply by all who loved him.

Kyle was a selfless person, always making sure everyone had a gift on holidays, never showing up to a party empty-handed, and consistently putting others before himself. His thoughtfulness and generosity left a lasting impression on many.

Kyle was a deeply loving man, cherished not only by his family but also by the extraordinary community of friends he cultivated. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel like family. The kids especially adored him and always gravitated towards Kyle. His loving nature was never more evident than with his girlfriend, Meranda, with whom he created a relationship that truly radiated happiness, comfort, and love. His infectious, playful nature and loyalty to those he loved will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

An exceptional athlete and avid sports fan, Kyle was known for his unwavering love for the 49ers and Yankees, as well as his natural talent in virtually every sport, excelling even in the most obscure games. He especially had a passion for golf, where he worked as the Assistant Golf Professional at Towa Golf Club. Throughout his life, he created countless memories on the course with a wide variety of people. His spirit will live on, being felt on many different fairways and greens, a lasting presence for many during every round.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Angela Salazar; father, Patrick Salazar; siblings, Brandon Jaramillo (LeeAndra) and Kaylee Marquez (Jacob); grandparents, Ronnie and Belinda Jaramillo; grandparents Priscilla and Antonio Salazar; godparents Angus and Pamela Ortiz. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, his beloved girlfriend Meranda Romero, and countless special friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held at DeVargas Funeral Home in Española, NM, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Del Valle de Pojoaque Church. Rosary will begin at 9:00 am, with Mass to follow at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Pojoaque Cemetery. Reception at Cities of Gold Hotel to immediately follow.

Serving as Pallbearers are: Brandon Jaramillo, Ronnie Jaramillo, Xavior Salazar, Dominic Salazar, Kenny Martinez, Jacob Marquez, Miguel Romero, Andres Duran, Mark Mercado, and Daniel Maestas.
