She was a 2000 graduate of Goddard High School and a seeker of knowledge her whole life. The rest of us are left with a hole in our world. We lost a wife, daughter, friend, teacher, student, and biologist. We will miss her sense of fun, her creative mind behind the beautiful crafts, and her joyous love of nature.\r\nA memorial service was held in Los Alamos. Memorials may be made by planting something to honor her: a tree, flowers, or just digging in the dirt and feeding the bacteria in the soil around us all.\r\nShe fought for years against the assault of rheumatoid arthritis, but now she is finally free from her constant pain. Gifts may be made in her memory to the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation at http://rheum4us.org/. The family of Krysal Rae Finney (Krissie Vernon) has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
