Kimberly A. Cordova, 30, a resident of Espanola, passed into the next life Monday, August 12, 2019, due to an unforeseen illness. She was proceeded in death by her father Anthony M. Cordova Sr.; maternal grandfather, Leo Jaramillo, paternal grandfather Tony Cordova, along with other family members. It is with tremendous sorrow her family announces the unexpected loss of a vibrant and beautiful soul to the world who leaves behind her loving family with a lifetime of incredibly joyful memories. Kim was a humorous, caring, loving, considerate daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, partner and friend who inspired those around her to cherish life and strive for the greatness that lies in all of us. Kim passed in the comfort of her loved ones with hope for the future of herself and those around her. She was born August 4, 1989, in Los Alamos, a daughter of Denise Jaramillo and Gus Garcia. She was a 2008 graduate of Espanola Valley High School. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Leian (Andrew) Romero, brothers Tony Cordova and Daniel (Desiree) Cordova, nieces whom she loved dearly Madysen and Paetyn Romero and Hailey Cordova; the love of her life Angel Herrera. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz with a memorial mass to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. The following will carry our beautiful soul to her final resting place, Andrew Romero, Nicole Pacheco, Jimmy Herrera, Kim Montoya, Fabian Atencio Jr., Amy Salazar, Christopher Atencio, and Lynn Garduno. The family of Kimberly A. Cordova has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
