Kenny Sandoval

Kenny Sandoval, 51, a resident of Dixon, NM, passed away January 8, 2024, surrounded by his family. Kenny was usually the life of the party. He told jokes and stories to entertain and make everyone laugh. He was very friendly and made friends everywhere he went. Kenny loved anything having to do with the outdoors. He enjoyed listening to music replaying a song over and over until he knew the lyrics. Kenny enjoyed coaching his kids in basketball when they were younger. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him dearly. 

Kenny is preceded in death by his father Jose Sandoval; sister Elaine Martinez; stepfather Leo Armijo; brother Joey Sandoval; grandfather Nicanor Lopez; grand-mother Alice Lopez and brother-in -law Arthur Martinez.

Kenny is survived by his children: Gabrielle, Tiffany (Daniel), Christain (Mariah), Kenny Jr (Heaven-Lee), Kory, and Zoe Sandoval (Ayden); mothers of his children Melissa Valdez and Jessica Bustos; grandchildren Jazmyne Gracia, Nikki-Lee Roybal, Isaac Roybal, and Amor Ramirez; mother Lena Sandoval; brother Frankie Lopez (Juliet); sister's LeeAnn Sandoval (TJ) and Melissa Armijo (Mikie); nephew that was brought up like a brother Kevin Martinez (Ashley); companion Tanya Lujan; many nieces, nephews, close friends and other relatives.  

Public Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 5:30 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 pm.  Memorial Service will be on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dixon, NM, with burial to follow at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery in Dixon, NM. 

Serving as Pallbearers: Tiffany, Kenny Jr, Christain, Kory, Zoe, Gabrielle Sandoval and Fred Medina. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Larry Brito, Steven Griego, Norman and Daniel Martinez, Larry Valdez, Aaron Dominguez, Shone Galante and Daniel Stahl.
