Kenneth J. "Kenny" - Age 47 - Espa� Martinez

KENNETH J. “KENNY” MARTINEZ, 47, a resident of Española, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose and Teofila Martinez; maternal grandparents, Bonifacio Trujillo and Rufinita DeVargas and uncle, Beltran Trujillo. Kenny was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandpa and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him. Mr. Martinez is survived by his parents, Teofilo and Amelia Martinez; sons, Kristopher and Kenneth Martinez; mother of his sons, Kathy Arquero; grandsons, Kai and Kristopher Martinez; sisters, Kathy Martinez, Karen Naranjo (David) and Kim Martinez; niece, AthenaGrace Naranjo; niece/God-daughter, Felyse Cordova and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz with the following serving as pallbearers, Kristopher, Kenneth, Kim, and Kathy Martinez, Karen Naranjo and David Naranjo. The family of Kenneth J. “Kenny” Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
