Kelvin - Age 36 - Española - Pacheco -

KELVIN LEONARD PACHECO, 36, a resident of Española and formerly of Rio Lucio, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 following a battle with cancer the last 2 ½ years. He was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Pacheco; uncle, Arturo Pacheco; niece, baby Margaret Griego; cousin, Donald Rodriguez and grandfather, Alfonso Rodriguez. Kelvin was a graduate of Peñasco High School. He loved working on cars and cruising around. He was a former employee at the Ohkay Owingeh casino and Gil’s rental in Española, he really enjoyed his jobs. He enjoyed playing with his pets, Jr. and Chulo and his cat, Boderic. Kelvin is survived by his companion, Danielle Gallegos of Española; mother, Gloria Pacheco of Rio Lucio; maternal grandmother, Elsie Rodriguez of Rio Lucio; sisters, Josephine Lopez and husband Frank of Las Trampas, Theresa Pacheco of El Rancho and LouAnn Pacheco of Rio Lucio; brother, John Pacheco and wife Amy of La Mesilla; 7 nieces and nephews and 2 great-nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place; a rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco. Memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. also at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in with a burial to follow at the Chamisal cemetery in Peñasco. The family of Kelvin Leonard Pacheco has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
