KAYLA GOMEZ, 30, a resident of Española, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Gomez and grandmother, Hazel Martinez. Ms. Gomez is survived by her children, Jaylene and Janae Gomez; mother and step-father, Glenda and Matthew Bustos; father, Kevin Gomez; grandparents, Lorenzo Martinez and Grace Gomez; brother, Kevin Gomez, Jr. and sister, Alexis Bustos and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque.
