JULIAN RAYMOND QUINTANA, 55, a resident of San Pedro, passed away suddenly in an accidental house fire on Sunday, April 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Julia Quintana; maternal grandparents, Tony and Ursula Passarelli and brother, Bobby Quintana. Julian was the second youngest among 12 siblings. He loved dancing. It was not uncommon to see him drinking his Dr. Pepper that he loved so much. He would never walk away from anyone without asking them to pray for him. He loved the Lord and would pray regularly. He will be dearly missed, May he rest in peace. Mr. Quintana is survived by his sisters, Julia and Dolores Martinez both of San Pedro, Cristella Maestas and husband Leland of La Puebla, Irene Martinez and husband Max of Rio Chama and Patricia Murray of Gilbert, Arizona; brothers, Max Quintana and wife Mickie and Gene Quintana all of San Pedro, Joseph Quintana and wife Rosella of Santa Fe, Roland Quintana and wife Patricia of Arroyo Seco and Tim Quintana of San Pedro and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a wake to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz. The family of Julian Raymond Quintana has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
