Juan Jose Age - 91 - Santo Nino Lujan

Juan Jose Lujan, 91, a lifelong resident of Santo Nino, born September 21, 1920 passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Juan was a WWII Veteran and took great pride in having the opportunity to serve his Country. Juan was a Charter Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie 3695. He was a Member of the Carpenters Union, Disabled American Veterans and the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Juan retired from the Española Public Schools. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Lujan and Delfina Trujillo de Lujan; brother, Frank, sister, Helen and daughter, Lori Ann. Juan is survived by his sons: John Jay (Mara) and James D. (Julie); his grandchildren: James Jr., and Richard (and mother Darlene), Scott, Sarah, Brandon, Jeremy, Frankie, Matthew and Christopher. Juan is also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at La Igelsia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. The family of Juan Jose Lujan has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
