Juanita Rendon

Juanita Rendon, a resident of Dixon, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in her home on January 13, 2024.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Epimeno Rendon, parents Ospicio and Isabel Mascareñas, brothers Stephen and Daniel Mascareñas, son Richard Rendon, and grandson Matthew Rendon.

Juanita was a loving mother and grandmother. She raised her children with love and devotion in Leadville, Colorado, with her husband Epimeno.  Juanita loved cooking, baking, gardening, crocheting, and taking care of her family. Juanita was also known for her artistic ability to hand make beautiful quilts that she shared near and far.

She is survived by her children Doris Rendon, David Rendon (Jackie), Steve Rendon (Carol), Lorene Archuleta (Victor), Dennis Rendon, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother Rudolpho Mascareñas (Annabelle), sister Orlinda Mascareñas, brother Lorenzo Mascareñas, sister Yvonne Valdez, brother Ruben Mascareñas (Molly), and sister-in-law Rose Mascareñas.

Services will be announced by the family at a later date.
