JUANITA (ANGELA) MARTINEZ, 32, a resident of El Rito, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael L. Martinez; maternal grandfather, Esmeraldo Martinez; paternal grandparents, Juan de la Cruz and Fernanda Martinez. Angela was born in Los Alamos on August 19, 1983 to Danny and Loyda Martinez. She was a kind hearted and caring person who loved getting together with her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherwoman and loved camping. She left this earth too soon, she is now with the Lord. Ms. Martinez is survived by her children, Ashley Manzanares and Anjelo Terrazas; parents, Danny and Loyda Martinez; loving companion, Jose Terrazas; sister, Jennifer Nieto and Val of Albuquerque; brothers, Jacob Martinez and Rosella of El Rito and Fernando Martinez and Angel of Española; maternal grandmother, Victoria Martinez and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Public will begin on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rock Christian Fellowship in Española. Serving the family as pallbearers will be, Victoria Maestas, Feliciana, Samantha and Victoria Martinez, Ashley Manzanares, and Rosella Valdez. Honorary pallbearers named are, Jacob Martinez, Fernando Martinez, Harry Martinez, Jr., Leonard Maestas, Jonah Valdez, Yolanda Martinez, Amanda Herrera, and Angie Gutierrez.
