Juan Serrano

Juan Jose Dennis (JJ) Serrano , 36, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 11, 2018. He was born on May 6, 1981 in Espanola. Juan Jose (JJ) was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Arsenio and Geraldine Josephine Serrano. He was raised in the Coyote and Hernandez area. Juan Jose (JJ) had a passion for the road. He began driving semis shortly after graduating from Española High School in 1999. He enjoyed experiencing new places through-out his travels. Juan Jose (JJ) loved football especially the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed other sporting events. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Juan Jose (JJ) was survived by his siblings, Dora (Chad) Guenther, Nora (Larry) Baca, Diego Serrano; nieces and nephews, Audrey Carrillo, Audra Wiley, Wayne Jr., AJ, Brian and Renee Velasquez, Robert and Alex Baca, Jacob and Tessa Serrano and many other great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Coyote. The family of Juan Jose (JJ) Serrano has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
