Juan “Sunshine” Dominguez, 35, a resident of El Guache, NM went peacefully to his home in heaven surrounded by family on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Juan was an amazing person with a heart of gold and a shining personality. Among being an avid fisherman, Juan was amazing when it came to gardening and lit up any room with his contagious smile. Juan had a love like no other for his dear mom, sisters, nephews, nieces, God children, and last but certainly not least the ONE and ONLY Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his father Juan Dominguez. Maternal Grandparents: Miguel and Eloisa Valdez, Mable and Jose Jesus Garcia. Paternal Grandparents: Santiago Dominguez. Padrino Lenny Maestas, Aunt Geraldine Dominguez, Uncle Maclovio Maestas and Cousin Virgil “Ramsey” Vigil.
Juan is survived by his loving mother Mercy Dominguez & Stepdad, Benjamin R. Robles. Sisters: Valerie (Samantha), Marisol & brother-in-law Mario. Step Siblings: Susana, Catalina (Tanya) & Miguel (Erica) Rivera, Niece Jocelyn. Nephews; Emilio and Clyde & his amazing Padrinos Mike (Linda). Special Relatives: Otilio (Chenky), Barbara (Virgil), Kay, Chastity (Stephen), Grandpa Clyde, Grandma Sarah, Grandma Lorraine, Jacque, Michelle, Carmella (Randy), Minnie Martinez, Jennifer Montano, Josh Maestas, Emmanuel Dominguez, Tim Martinez. Aunts and Uncles: Johnny (Mannie), Earl (Kathy), Louanna (Toby), Alvin (Norma), Rudy (Pam), Linda, Loyola, Wilfred, Bobby, Lena (Pepe), Victor, Rosa, Maricella (Luis), Felipe, Santiago (MaryAnn). Along with numerous other relatives that loved him deeply.
Public visitation will begin on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 5:00 pm at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, a Wake service will follow at 6:00 pm. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11:00 am at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez.
