JUAN V. MANZANARES, 61, a resident of Medanales, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother Beatrice Manzanares; brother, Horacio Manzanares, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Enrique and Estephanita Manzanares; maternal grandparents, Claudio and Manuelita Espinoza. Mr. Manzanares is survived by his father, Horacio Manzanares; brothers and sisters, David Manzanares and wife Irene, Lucy Manzanares, Geri Martinez and husband Johnny, Irene Garcia and husband Julian, Carol Martinez and husband Michael, Eva Sanchez, Rose Martinez and companion Medardo, Joseph Manzanares and wife Yolanda and Nadine Martinez and numerous other relatives and friends. Public Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu, with a burial to follow at the Medanales Catholic Cemetery in Medanales.
