Juan - Age 46 - Cebolla Archuleta

Juan Archuleta – Age 46 a resident of Cebolla born on April 27, 1964 departed from this life on Monday, February 21, 2011. He resided in Chama for the past few years. Juan devoted the last 19 years to the New Mexico Department of Transportation, he was currently the supervisor of the Chama district. Juan enjoyed life to the fullest; his heart was ranching & farming in his Ranch in Cebolla. He was a devoted brother, uncle & friend he will be greatly missed. Juan was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Paul and Margaret Archuleta; brothers: James, Leroy and Felix; niece, Ernestina Archuleta. Juan is survived by his brothers & sisters: Bobby Archuleta and his wife Ruby, Loyda Rodella and husband Steven, Irma Valdez and husband Greg, Terry Martinez and husband Joseph, Shirley Archuleta, Arlene Archuleta, Lorraine Pacheco and husband Max, Luis Archuleta and wife Nena, Ernesto Archuleta, Pinky Jacquez and husband Gabe, Tony Archuleta, Pablo Archuleta and wife Susan, Richardo Archuleta, Gilberto Archuleta and wife Jennifer; godmother & Tia, Mary Leyba; he is also survived by many nephews, nieces, uncles and aunts. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A second rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Santo Niño Catholic Church in Cebolla. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Santo Niño Catholic Church in Cebolla with burial to follow at Cebolla Cemetery.
