Joyce Natalie - Age 43 - Española/Chimayo - Fresquez

JOYCE NATALIE FRESQUEZ, 43 a resident from Española/Chimayo, passed away in Albuquerque on Sunday, May 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annabelle Miera; grandmother, Lugarda Miera; grandfather, Juan Miera; baptismal God-parents, Jose and Magdalena Montoya; uncle, Steve Miera; aunt, Berlinda Martinez; cousin, Vernon Martinez; brother-in-law, Rudy Arzola and Cuz Matthew Vigil. She will be an Angel in Heaven with them. Joyce was known as "Mama Joyce" as she always made sure everyone was fed and taken care of, especially her son's who she loved dearly. Her heart was an open heart for everyone. Mrs. Fresquez is survived by her husband, Leroy Fresquez, Sr.; sons, Leroy Fresquez, Jr. and Nicholas Fresquez; grandson, Ian Leroy Isaac Fresquez; sisters, April Miera and fiance Kelly Trujillo and their daughter Twyla, Amanda Pacheco and her sons, Jaylend, Benjie, and Owen; aunts and uncles, Joe G. Martinez, Pablita and Horace Esquibel, Lourdes and Tom Apodaca and Joann Miera, cousins she "CALLED SISTERS", Polly Arzola, Priscilla Esquibel (Pete), Peggy Esquibel (Kevin), Debbie Dixon (Martin) and Myra Vigil; close cousins, David Martinez, Janet and Steve Trujillo, Juanita Apodaca (Eric), Michael Martinez (Evelyn), Ashley Padilla (Demetris) and Thomas Apodaca (Catrina); mother-in-law, Elena Fresquez and husband Junior and numerous other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española with the following serving the family as pallbearers: Martin Dixon, David Martinez, Amber Castaneda, Darren Sapcut, Jeremy Montoya and Ramon Vigil. The family of Joyce Natalie Fresquez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
