Joshua "Isaiah" Age - 16 - Ilfeld Cook, Jr.

JOSHUA “ISAIAH” COOK, JR., Age 16 a resident of South San Ysidro, NM suddenly passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by his great-aunt, Theresa Perea-Garcia and uncle, Charles “Chuck” Garcia. He is survived by his father, Joshua Isaiah Cook, Sr. of Santa Fe; mother, Audra Perea of South San Ysidro; brothers, Dylan and Julian Cook; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Antonette Perea of South San Ysidro; paternal grandparents, Ed and Patricia Cook of Everett, Washington; and numerous, loving uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends, including Ernie Ray Romero and Rose Encinias. Isaiah loved many outdoor activities, including: fishing, camping, hiking, skiing, swimming, soccer and spending time with his family and friends. Isaiah was courageous, daring and had such a kind loving personality towards people and animals. Isaiah's great sense of humor and infectious, dimpled smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his puppy, Sabu. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the El Valle Del Cristo Christian Church in Ribera, NM. The family of Joshua “Isaiah” Cook, Jr. has entrusted the care of their beloved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
