Joshua Dillon Ickes - 35 - Left this earth to a better place on April 21, 2011 of natural causes. Born November 2, 1975 to his mother Amy, Josh is survived by the loves of his life, his son Dominik and his daughter Mary, his mom Amy, his biological father Bob, his true father Scott Wheeler, his “2nd” mom Mary Anne Wheeler and his sisters Kodi Logsdon, and Kelly and Amanda Wheeler. Josh is also survived by his grandmother Marjorie, his aunts Marsha and Cory, his uncle Mark, his cousins Aaron, Rachel, Stacy, Kevin and Lyssa, and the mother of his children Erin Santistevan. Josh will also be remembered and loved by his many friends whose lives he touched and whom will never forget him.\r\n \r\nLife dealt Josh more challenges then anyone can imagine. His courage and spirit for life taught all who were privileged to know him that life is not about what we have, but who we are and how we handle adversity in any circumstance. Josh will now be looking after his children, his mom and his family in a way that this world never allowed.\r\n \r\nA celebration of Josh’s life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Zebeeiah’s Restaurant in Angel Fire. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established at Los Alamos National Bank to help with the expense of this celebration and to set up a college fund for his children.
