Josh Age - 25 - La Villita Sanchez

Our Beloved Angel Josh Sanchez, 25, a resident of La Villita went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Although Josh never got to say a word or run around he said plenty with his eyes. Joshua’s big bright eyes, beautiful smile and laughter lit up our lives. Josh spent his days watching his favorite games shows: Price is Right and Wheel of fortune with his dog Benny by his side. He enjoyed his long rides to the mountains and seeing the autumn changes every year. He loved to go hang out at his best friend Gabby Montano’s house. He enjoyed watching children play and his special days with Beth Grimm and Gene Portieus his friends and physical therapists. When he took his last breath on earth and opened his eyes in heaven, Joshua ran to Jesus loving arms. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Naranjo; cousins: Therese Quintana and Aaliyah Medina. Josh is survived by his mother, Annette Naranjo of La Villita; father, Arnold Sanchez and companion Margaret Archuleta of Chamita; grandparents: Mike and Juvela Naranjo of San Pedro, Arnold and Eva Sanchez of Chamita; great-grandmothers: Pilar Archuleta of Española and Carmelita Naranjo of El Llano; aunts/uncles: Donald and Carlene Naranjo of Ranchitos, Donna Naranjo and companion Tony Scannapieco, Tina and Paul NewBerry of White Rock, Michele and Tony Gitto of Rio Rancho, Ramon and Jennifer Naranjo of Reno, Nevada, Ramon Sanchez and companion Stephanie Romero and Toby Sanchez of Chamita; godparents: Lupita Gress of Chamita and Salvador Beltran of Deming; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a wake to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alcalde with burial to follow at La Villita Catholic Cemetery in Alcalde with the following serving as pallbearers: Kevin Medina, Donald Naranjo, Ramon Sanchez, and Ramon Naranjo.
