Joseph Eugene "Gino" Age - 47 - El Valdez

Joseph Eugene Valdez “Gino”, 47, a resident of El Guache went to peace with our Lord on Monday, December 10, 2012. He was a very loving, helpful and caring father and grandfather to his three daughters and seven grandchildren. Gino loved each of his children and grandchildren with a passion as they were his life. He was a hardworking professional painting contractor. Gino was also an active and dedicated member of New Creation in Christ Ministry. He was passionate for the Lord and serving the word of God to everyone. Gino will also be remembered as a devoted Denver Broncos fan that never missed a game. He was preceded in death by his paternal parents, Joe I. and Tive Valdez; brothers, Joseph L. Valdez and Billy Martinez and sister, Terri O. Cordova. Mr. Valdez is survived by his maternal mother, Molly Valdez and husband Pete of Nambe; daughters, Monica Gettler and husband Leroy of Rio Rancho, Andrea Suazo and husband Matthew of Taos, Trisha Valdez and companion Kenneth Martinez of El Guache; grandchildren: Alexyss, Matthew, DeShaun, Jaylene, Ilyanna, Marcos and Mariah; brothers and sisters: Sam and wife Gina Valdez of El Guache, Lillian Brooks of La Mesilla, Vivian Martinez of Pojoaque, Randy and wife Estelle Valdez of La Villita, Melissa Martinez of Nambe, Emily Martinez and husband David of La Mesilla, Sharon Wach and husband Chad of Virginia; special nieces and nephews: Nikki Valdez, Madison Wach and David Jaramillo and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Creation in Christ Ministry in Española. The family of Joseph Eugene Valdez “Gino” have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
