Joseph Eric - age 41 - Albuquerque Salazar

Joseph Eric Salazar, 41, a medical assistant and current resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at high noon in the middle of the day. He was hit by the Rail Runner on St. Michaels Dr. in Santa Fe while traveling on his bicycle. He was reared by his grandparents Joe I and Ramoncita Salazar of Youngsville and Canones. Joseph Eric was preceded in death by his mother Mary R. Salazar-Serrano on April 21, 2014; and his son Nathaniel Lorang. Eric is survived by his significant other Jenny Lorang and their children, Francisco and Angelica, Eric is also survived by his adult children Joey Angelo and Jonathan Matthew, and two grandsons all of Texas, two biological sons, Gabriel and Dion Salazar Serrano; various uncles, aunts, and many many cousins, friends, and other relatives. A rosary will be recited on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada, with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with burial to take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Canoñes Ranch. The family of Joseph Eric Salazar has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.\r\n
