Joseph D. Montoya, 75 of Cebolla, NM, passed away on May 31, 2024.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Montoya of 35 years. Both his parents Delfin and Eliria Montoya; brothers-in-law Pete Lucero and Noberto Serrano.
Joseph is survived by his two sons, Johnny Montoya (Juanita) and Ray Montoya (Veronica); two daughters, Sarah Archuleta (Jerry), and Christina Nelson (Phil); 12 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren. 3 Sisters, Siria Lucero, Susan Serrano, Dorothy Valdez (Isaac) and his brother Raymie Montoya (Dilia).
A rosary will be recited on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Santa Cruz de la Canada Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM, with Mass to follow at 11:00. Burial will follow at the Santa Cruz Catholic Cemetery in El Llano, NM.
