JOSEPH B. MARQUEZ, JR., 36, a resident of Española, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Lenor Vita Viarreal; paternal grandparents, Juan and Anita Marquez; maternal grandmother, Minnie Martinez; close friend, Geno Montoya; mother-in-law, Vivian Martinez; grandmother-in-law, Aida Martinez. Joseph was a Union Member of 407 Southwest Regional Carpenters for the past 16 years. He loved hunting and his passion was low riding and hopping his car. Marquez, Sr.; mother, Sandra Serrano all of Española; grandfather, Adonis Serrano; brother, Juan Marquez of Chamita; sister, Theresa Marquez of Española; aunts and uncles, Angie Marquez of Ohkay Owingeh, Leroy Pacheco of Peñasco; Lillian Villalobos (Poncho) of Alcalde, Leonard Serrano of Española, Patrick Serrano of Alcalde, Stella Nino (Noe) of Texas and Robert Trujillo of Denver; special nephew, Julian Morrales of Española; nephews and nieces, Isaac Morrales, Jerin Marquez, Kianna Estrada, Sonya Marquez all of Española; special cousin, Chassity Pacheco of Ohkay Owingeh; special friends that were like a brothers, Sam Maldonado of Ojo Caliente and Manny Maldonado of Ohkay Owingeh and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church across from McCurdy School. The family of Joseph B.
