Joseph - Age 54 - Santa Fe/Ojo Caliente Rodriguez

Joseph Rodriguez age 54 of Santa Fe and formerly of Ojo Caliente went to join his Lord on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He always had a smile for everyone and always seemed happy especially enjoying the beautiful outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose R. Rodriguez; step-parents who raised him; Alfonso and Eva Chacon; uncle, Alberto Rodriguez Jr., and best friend and brother-in-law, Paul Roybal. He is survived by his mother, Lucia Lugarda Martinez of CA, siblings; Carol Gallegos of Bernalillo, Laverne Neria-Rodriguez (Valentin) and Gloria Rodriguez (Guadalupe) all of CA, Bernie Ortiz (Salvador) of Hernandez, Marie Jacquez (Fernando) of Santa Fe, Paul Rodriguez and Raymond Rodriguez of Hernandez, Sharon Jimenez of Pojoaque, Jennie Lucero, Angie Lucero and George Lucero all of CA, and Sammy Lucero of Santa Fe; step-brothers, Sevedeo, Junior and Donel; step-sister, Clara Chacon and other Chacon relatives from The Mesa Vista Café in Ojo Caliente as well as other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española.
