Jose O. Age - 76 - El Valle Montoya

Jose Omedo Montoya died from a lengthy illness on December 21, 2011 at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Jose, a native of El Valle, NM, retired in 1992 as a Plant Supervisor at Tri Valley Growers in Hollister, CA. Jose moved back to El Valle, NM in 1992 to enjoy his retirement years and to be near his Family. Jose has fathered ten children who in turn have begotten twenty grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Jose is survived by his spouse, Clara A Montoya, his surviving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church in El Valle with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in El Valle with burial to follow at El Valle Community Cemetery.
