Jose Lauriano - Age 74 - Rio Lucio Gurule

JOSE LAURIANO GURULE, 74, a resident of Rio Lucio, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Querino Gurule; mother, Cleofas Martinez; sisters, Ema Gurule and Elizida Gurule; brothers, Adolpho, Luis, Orlando and Hilio Gurule. Mr. Gurule is survived by his wife of 55 years, Laura Gurule; children, Jerry Gurule and wife Mae, Annabelle Rendon and husband Robert and Arlene and Patsy Gurule; grandchildren, Eric, Chris, Amy, and Adam Rendon and Jerome Gurule; great-grandson, Dylen Rendon; sisters-in-law, Julianita Gurule, Viola Salazar and Faby Lopez and husband Nelson; brothers-in-law, Joe Vigil and Teddy Vigil and wife Margaret and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. also at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco. Burial to follow at the Vigil Family Cemetery in Rio Lucio with the following serving as pallbearers, Jerome Gurule, Orlando Gurule, Jr., Joe Gurule, Delfino Vigil, Johnny Vigil and Ryan Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearer is Felix Gurule. The family of Jose Lauriano Gurule has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
