JOSEFITA M. TRUJILLO , 65, a resident of Rio Chiquito, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Martinez and brother, Mike R. Martinez. Josefita was an excellent cook and a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife. She loved Spanish music and taking the road trips with her family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Trujillo is survived by her husband, Richard Trujillo; children, Annette Trujillo, Richard Trujillo, Jr. and Anthony Trujillo and wife Angelia; mother, Julia Martinez; brothers and sisters, Freddy Martinez and companion Marlene Trujillo, Danny Martinez and wife Martha, Martin Martinez and wife Denise, Nora Duran and husband Rudy, Linda Martinez and companion Lonnie Montoya and Mable Sanchez; mother-in-law, Isabel Trujillo; grandchildren, Nicholas Monroe and Annalia Trujillo and many other loving in-laws, relatives and family and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at the Rio Chiquito Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Michael Martinez, Isaac Trujillo, Henry Trujillo, Jr., Fabian Duran, Lance Martinez and Ruben Trujillo Jr. The family of Josefita M. Trujillo has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
