Jose F. Age 78 Española Pacheco

Jose F. Pacheco, 78, a resident of Ranchitos, NM passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Mr. Pacheco served in the Korean War from April 28, 1953 to April 27, 1955. He worked for 35 years and retired as a Union Local 16. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adelaido and Samuelita Pacheco; brothers: Max of Ranchitos and Sammy Pacheco of Utah; sister, Anita Archuleta; daughters: Rita A. Salazar and Melissa E. Martinez; brothers-in-law: Pete Rendon, Ruben Vigil; sister-in-law, Rosina Pacheco. Jose is survived by the mother of his children, Frances Pacheco of Ohkay Owingeh; son, Arthur Pacheco and wife Sandra of Ohkay Owingeh; daughters: Darlene A. Pacheco, Sharon E. Pacheco and Cathy Pacheco all of Ohkay Owingeh; sisters: Bernie Rendon of Velarde, Cleo Pacheco of Ranchitos, Susie Martinez and husband Ben of Las Cruces, Pearl Vigil of Ranchitos; brother, Eppie Pacheco of Ranchitos, mother-in-law, Theresita Atencio of Ohkay Owingeh; sons-in-law: Orlando Martinez of Ohkay Owingeh and Chris Salazar of Santa Clara Pueblo; brothers-in-law: Delio Archuleta, Tom Atencio and wife Edith; sisters-in-law: Juanita Cata, Tillie Stewart, Rose Salazar and Ernestine Glock; 7 grandchildren: RJ Martinez, Arthur Pacheco Jr., Crystal Garcia, Tristan and Brandon Tafoya, Cindy Pacheco and Jude Oka; 5 great-grandchildren: Marissa Garcia, Elias Dominic War, Monique, Genasey and Amancio Pacheco; many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with interment to take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. The family of Jose F.
