\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Jose Emilio-Cain Gonzalez Born February 25, 1988 passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Emilio Gonzalez; paternal grandfather, Emilio Gonzalez Zubiate of Mexico; maternal grandfather, Manuel Romero; great-grandparents, Tom and Lorencita Romero, Fermin and Feliciana Viarrial and uncle, Jacob Viarrial, all from the Pueblo of Pojoaque. Jose is survived by his loving daughter, Elexus Renee Gonzalez; girlfriend, Leanor Romero; mother, Laurie Ann Romero and companion, David Garcia; sister, Laura Gonzalez from the Pueblo of Pojoaque and sister, Karla Mendez of Kansas; paternal grandmother, Carolina Marrufo Morales of Mexico; maternal grandmother, Josefina Villarreal; aunt, Lynda Romero and her children; Kyle and T’kyea Romero; uncle, Ray Romereau and aunt, Sandra Batista, all from the Pueblo of Pojoaque; aunts, Maria de la Luz Gonzalez, Carolina Gonzalez Murrufo and uncle, Manuel Gonzalez, all from Mexico and his uncle, Martin Gonzalez of Colorado; great-uncles, Ben, Jimmy, and Ralph Viarrial; great-aunts, Cordi Gomez, Dora Martinez and Phoebe Petty, all from the Pueblo of Pojoaque; very special cousins, Phil Viarrial and Santiago Mascareñas from the Pueblo of Pojoaque; very special friends, Juanito Molinar of Mexico; William Griego and Lee Romero of Pojoaque and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Laurie Ann Romero in the Pueblo of Pojoaque. Mass will be celebrated at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Pueblo of Pojoaque Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Phil Viarrial, Santiago Mascareñas, Butch Romero, William Griego, Mike Gallegos, Derrick Viarrial, Kyle Romero and Lee Romero.
