Jose C. "Cicilio" Age - 89 - El Gui Herrera

Jose C. Herrera “Cicilio”, 89, a resident of El Guique went home with our Lord on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josina; parents, Juan Gabriel Herrera and Rosalia Trujillo; in-laws, Ambrosio and Lina Martinez; brother-in-law, Jose; sisters: Gabrielita Jaramillo, Elma Duran and Flora Quintana; brothers: Hipolito Herrera and Reynaldo Dominguez. Cicilio is survived by his son, Lino Herrera and wife Barbara; daughters: Linda Garcia and husband Leroy, Cecilia Herrera and companion Todd Cruz and Viola Herrera; adopted grandson, Chris Edmonds; grandchildren: Valerie Archuleta and husband Leroy, Lino Herrera, Jr. and wife Elisha, Ross Garcia and wife Alberta, Steven Garcia and wife Leona, Matthew Garcia and wife Crisella, Nicole Edmonds and Angela Moe; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Hignio Dominguez, Wilfred, Archie and Tino Herrera; sisters: Luisita Sanchez, Rebecca Herrera, Lala Perea and Nadine Martinez; brother-in-law, Fred Jaramillo; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with burial to follow at San Rafael Cemetery in El Guique with the following serving as pallbearers: Ross Garcia, Lino Herrera Jr., Steven Garcia, Leroy Archuleta, Jose Valdez and Nefi Sanchez; honorary pallbearers will be all his great-grandchildren.
