Jose Anselmo "Chemo" - Age 50 - Gal Padilla

JOSE ANSELMO “CHEMO” PADILLA, 50, a resident of Gallina, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Elizaida Padilla; brothers, Eddie and Pat Padilla; sister, Rose Martinez and brothers-in-law, Robert and Thomas Martinez. Mr. Padilla is survived by his daughter, Katherine Sanchez and husband Paul Ortega of Gallina; sisters, Angie Arellano and husband Roberto Fidel and Eva Piedra and husband Ruben of Green River, Wyoming and Edith Martinez of Gallina and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Templo Getsemani Church in Salitrar with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. also at the Templo Getsemani Church in Salitrar. Burial to follow at the Capulin Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Alfonso Suazo, Joe Gonzales, Mark Valdez, Floyd, Harold and Manuel Arellano. Honorary pallbearer will be, Raymond Arellano. The family of Jose Anselmo “Chemo” Padilla has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
