Jose Padilla

JOSE PADILLA, 71, born in Dixon and lived in Chimayo, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Filadelfio and Dolorita Padilla; sons, Teddy and James Padilla. Jose loved cruising and spending time with Enrique, who he called champion. He also enjoyed watching WWF Wrestling and going out to eat breakfast every morning. Mr. Padilla is survived by his wife, Rosa Garcia Quesada of Chimayo; children, Enrique Torrez and Lucinda and Mark Padilla; brothers, Frankie Padilla (Juanita), Tony Padilla (Charlie), Larry and Ben Padilla and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of Christ in Peñasco. Burial for Jose Padilla will take place Monday April 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at  Llano de San Juan Cemetery in Llano, NM.
