JOSE MENDOZA, 40, a resident of Petaca/Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Jose was preceded in death by his mother, Senovia Torrez; grandparents, Maclovio and Eufemia Torrez. Jose is survived by his brother, Adolfo Torrez and wife Anita; Tia, Placida Roybal; nephews, Adolfo Torrez Jr., Domonic Torrez and Matthew Torrez; special aunt, Darlene Roybal and many cousins and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin Friday, September 16, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date. The family of Jose Mendoza has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
