Jose Trujillo

Jose Audelio Trujillo, 86. A resident of Truchas passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 24, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Agueda Trujillo. His parents; Celia Fernandez & Efren Trujillo, brothers; Gilberto Trujillo, Isabro Trujillo, Arquin Romero, and Ernesto Trujillo, sisters; Flora Abeyta, Dorothy Romero, and Irene Sandoval, Mother and Father in law; Solomon & Josefita Modragon.

Audelio will always be remembered for his love of family and the great outdoors. If he wan’t at home in Truchas tending to his family, cows, and horses, he was fishing, hunting, horseback riding, or gathering wood. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Audelio is survived by his sister Barbara Trujillo and brother Roy Romero, son’s; Orlando and wife Charlene Trujillo, Audelio Jr. and wife Lorraine Trujillo, Ernest and wife Angela Trujillo, daughter; Lucille Martinez and Companion Eddie Lovato, Grandchildren; Leon Martinez (Shannon), Orlando Trujillo Jr., Annette Serna (Jonathan), Erica Martinez (Kevin), Angel Trujillo (Darrel), Tammy Trujillo (Russell), Michael Trujillo (Leticia), Amanda Trujillo (Ezequiel), Steven Trujillo (Ashley), Rocky Trujillo (Feliz), and Jessica Garcia (James), 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great Grandchildren, special close nieces Mary Lou Romero and Crystal Lucero. A rosary will take place on January 14, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Chimayo with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 also at Holy Family Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at Los Llanitos Cemetery in Truchas. Serving the family as pallbearers are Orlando Trujillo Jr., Steven Trujillo, Michael Trujillo, Rocky Trujillo, Isaac Trujillo, Eduardo Trujillo Jr., with honorary pallbearers Leon Martinez, Eddie Lovato, James Garcia, and Kruzito Serna.
