Jose Tranquilino Martinez (Trinkie) 78, a resident of Ranchitos, born October, 27, 1934, passed away on Sunday, August, 11, 2013 of a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances (Pancha) Martinez, parents; Guillermo and Belen Martinez, brother; Robert Martinez, and sister; Sophia Beck. Jose is survived by his daughters; Darlene Martinez Romero Pompa, and Diane King, son-in-law; Carlos Pompa, grandchildren; Jeni and Keith King, Julian, Diego, and Erika Pompa. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday August 15, 2013 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Jose Tranquilino Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
