Jonathon Vigil

Jonathan William Vigil, 25, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Jonathan was preceded in death by William (Mito) Vigil, Alicia Martinez, Jeff Gurule and Denise Gurule. He was employed by El Pinguino in Prescott, Arizona. Jonathan is survived by his parents, Frank and Eileen Vigil; brothers, Craig (Vanessa) Vigil and Brandon Vigil; grandparents, Jose Martinez and Betty Gurule; aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Esquibel, Ned (Dolores) Martinez, Joe (Geraldine) Martinez, Al (Karen Vigil) Suazo, Kenneth Vigil and many cousins. Public visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. also at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will take place at the Rio Lucio Cemetery following the funeral mass. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Craig Vigil, Brandon Vigil, Eric Martinez, Amber Martinez, Phil Pacheco and Kenneth Vigil.
