With broken hearts and sadness, we announce that on December 29, 2024, our beloved Jonathan Cordova was heartlessly taken from this world but he is now triumphant in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Jonathan was a respectful, loving, caring and very kind man who was taken from this world to soon. He was a journeyman/carpenter by trade. He loved hunting and fishing. He liked to joke around, laugh and give tight hugs. He was always willing to offer or lend a helping hand. Jonathan was a loving fiancé and father, affectionate son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who was truly loved and whose presence will be dearly missed.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father Ricky Cordova, his maternal grandfather Avaristo Romero, uncles Bruce and Roy, cousins Ronnie, Willie, Raul, Joaquin, Jesse and Ivan who were like brothers to him; paternal grandparents Alberto and Cordelia Cordova; paternal uncle Albert Cordova, aunts Margie Murrieta and Lillian Cordova and cousin Karen Garcia.

Jonathan is survived by his fiancé Hilarie and their daughter Alyssa; mother Adrina; brothers Ricky and Jason; nieces Monica and Jackie (David and their son Nathaniel), nephews Nathan and Isaac. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Dora Romero, uncle Jo, aunt Rose and cousin Jennifer, aunts Nary, Godmother Annabelle (Micheal), and Betty (Doug), and Cindy Romero, Godfather Ronnie Salazar,  paternal aunts and uncles Darlene (Mike), Christine (Carl), loving uncle Sammy (Sandra), William (Nena), Dickie (Diahann), Max and Melvin. Also surviving him is his fiancé parents Sammy and Sandra, her sister Rachel (Randy) and grandma Florence. He leaves behind his dog Buster; many cousins and friends too many to mention but fondly remembered and acknowledged.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Presbyterian Church in Truchas, NM, with burial to follow at Los Llanitos Cemetery in Truchas, NM.
