Jonah Marshall, age 42, died at his home in El Rito, New Mexico on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Jonah was born in Marathon, Florida. He spent his formative years in the Sunshine State, where he is remembered by his many friends as a smiling blonde boy with quick wit and lots of charm.
Jonah moved to New Mexico in 2001, where he soon met the woman he would love for the rest of his life. Raquel Trujillo and Jonah have three beautiful children; Kalvin (age 7), Abbigale (age 5), and Santiago (4 months). He loved being a father; always ready to play and teach his children new skills. Along with Raquel and the children he loved so dearly, Jonah is survived by his mother, Roma Richardson, his father, Jack Marshall, his sisters, Kim, Michelle, Raina, and Sabra and his grandmother, Mauna Richardson. Jonah had a kind and generous heart; he was a great friend and always willing to help whenever anyone was in need.
Jonah's family and friends will gather for a memorial service at the La Madera Community Center on Friday, August 14,2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, funds to help the family with expenses can be shared at the service or online at the link below.
