John Paul - 30 - El Guache Pacheco

JOHN PAUL PACHECO, 30, a resident of El Guache, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Pacheco; maternal grandmother, Emma Gurule and uncle, Herman Gurule. John was a mechanic and loved being outdoors, riding dirt bikes, four wheeling and mud bogging. He also enjoyed spending time with his sons at monster trucks and playing and teaching them about cars and taught them to drive the bobcat. John had a big and open heart and showed it through his emotion and big hugs he would give you. Mr. Pacheco is survived by his children, Xzavier and Xzander Pacheco; best friend and mother of his sons, Alicia Garcia; father, John Pacheco and companion Diane; brother, Zachery Pacheco and wife Priscilla; niece, Lillyana Pacheco; maternal grandfather, Avaristo Gurule and wife Christine; paternal grandparents, Cresencia Sanchez and husband Leo and Johnny Pacheco and wife Dorothy and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde. Burial to follow at the Father Cooper Cemetery in Embudo with the following serving as pallbearers, Leo Maestas, Levi Gallegos, Keith Padilla, Alex Garcia, Isaac Gallegos and Ernie Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers named are, Zachery, Xzavier, Xzander and Lillyana Pacheco. The family of John Paul Pacheco has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
