Johnny “Bear” Gambler, 40, of San Juan Pueblo and Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Johnny was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed making people laugh with his contagious sense of humor. He was very friendly and giving and never met a person that he didn’t like. His family came first in his life, especially his daughter, Leticia and nieces, Billie and Kayla. He will be missed dearly. Johnny was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Johnny J. Aguino and Petrolina; paternal grandparents, Wallace Gambler and Stella; brother, Teddy Gambler; uncle, Benny Aguino. He is survived by his wife Stacy of San Juan Pueblo; daughter, Leticia Gambler of San Juan Pueblo; parents, Billy and Patsy Gambler of San Juan Pueblo; nieces: Billie, Kayla, Brandi, Francine and Pamela all of San Juan Pueblo; in-laws, Frank Cata and Sophie of Santa Clara Pueblo; many uncles, aunts and cousins and loved ones. Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the parent’s residence in the San Juan Pueblo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with burial to follow at San Juan Pueblo Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Nevan Duran, Howie Aguino, Elmer Abeyta Jr., Josh Gambler, Rodney Cata, Patrick “Budget” Cata, John Trujillo, Guy Wright, Ruben Esquibel, B.J.
