Johnny Trujillo

JOHNNY S. TRUJILLO (Uncle Johnny), 52, a resident of Hernandez, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pedro R. and Severa Trujillo and Julian and Betty Garcia. Johnny was a well-known individual blessed with many talents; he was a jack of all trades. Well known artist known for his wood carvings and acrylic paintings. For his water utility works with Agua Sana. Johnny had the biggest heart and assured everyone else was taken care of first. Mr. Trujillo is survived by his only son, Johnny Andrew Trujillo and wife Kristen; granddaughter, Lauren Marie Trujillo (his “Nena”); sister-in-law who was like a daughter, Rhianna Jaramillo; special and dear to his heart, Eva Maestas; parents, Pete and Elizabeth Jane Trujillo; brothers, Adam Trujillo (Greta), Peter Trujillo (Margaret), Dennis Trujillo (Margaret), Paul Trujillo (Elaine), Francisco Trujillo (Geraldine), Marcus Trujillo (Unity); sisters, Yvonne Cordova (Jerry), Dana Martinez (Donald) and Julie Trujillo (Albert); nieces and nephews, Melinda Trujillo, his hijada (Antonio), Steven Trujillo, Victoria Trujillo (Jeremy), Lucas Smith, Fabian Smith, Dennise Trujillo, Amanda Trujillo (James), Dennis Lee Trujillo, Gabriella Trujillo, Joshua Trujillo, Marcus Trujillo, Jr., Matthew Trujillo, Melachi Trujillo, Luis Cordova (Desiree), Joseph Cordova (Joslyn), Christella Cordova and Michael Trujillo; great-nieces, Annalise Trujillo, Arabella Martinez, Kenzie Cordova and Marisol Naranjo; special friends who were like family, Pablo Lujan (Felicia) and Shanaya Lujan (his “Naya”), Sam Naranjo (Khrista), Jody Valdez, Pablo CdeBaca and numerous relatives and close friends. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Joseph Adam, Peter, Dennis, Paul, Francisco and Marcus Trujillo. Honorary pallbearers named, Lauren Marie Trujillo (his “Nena”) and Shanaya Lujan (his “Naya”). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory to assist the family with funeral expenses. The family of Johnny S. Trujillo has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
